Terms of Use

These terms govern your use of the Sunday Run Club website, account system, and any events you sign up for. By using the site or signing up for an event, you agree to them.

1. About us

Sunday Run Club ("SRC", "we", "us") is an informal, unincorporated running community based in Hazelwood, Pretoria. It is not a registered company or non-profit. Contact: info@sundayrunclub.co.za.

2. Your account

• You must be 18 or older to create an account.
• You agree to provide accurate information and keep your password safe.
• You're responsible for activity on your account. Tell us immediately if you suspect unauthorised access.
• You can delete your account at any time from your profile page.

3. Events — running at your own risk

Running is a physical activity that carries risk of injury, illness, or worse. By signing up for an SRC event you acknowledge and accept that:

• You participate voluntarily and at your own risk.
• You are responsible for assessing your own fitness to run.
• SRC, its organisers, and other members are not liable for any injury, loss, or damage you suffer in connection with an event, except where liability cannot be excluded under South African law.
• You will obey traffic laws and follow safe-running practice.
• You consent to photos taken at events being used on our website and social media. Email us if you'd like a specific photo removed.

Nothing in these terms limits any rights you have under the South African Consumer Protection Act, 2008 that cannot be waived.

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Use the site to harass, threaten, or impersonate anyone.
• Attempt to break, probe, or overload our systems.
• Scrape member data or use it for marketing or recruitment.
• Upload anything unlawful, defamatory, or that infringes copyright.

We may suspend or delete accounts that breach these rules.

5. Merchandise & orders

Merchandise is fulfilled via our store partner. Pricing, stock, shipping, refunds, and warranty are governed by the Consumer Protection Act and the store's own terms shown at checkout. Email info@sundayrunclub.co.za if you have an order problem and we'll help sort it.

6. Content & intellectual property

The SRC name, logo, and site content belong to Sunday Run Club. You may share links and screenshots, but please don't reuse the brand for your own events without asking.

7. Availability

We run this site on a best-effort basis. It may be unavailable from time to time for maintenance or reasons outside our control. We don't guarantee uninterrupted service.

8. Changes

We may update these terms. Continuing to use the site after a change means you accept the updated terms.

9. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa. Any dispute is subject to the jurisdiction of the South African courts.
